Here it is, our debut appearance in "Kerrang":
And, in even bigger news, the Misfats will be appearing in a future issue of Blender!
October 6th, 2004
Brace yerselves, Seattleites. You are being given a second helping of The Misfats, the Kings of Fat-core. We will be at the Catwalk Club, just a few short blocks from Seahawks Stadium, for a night of 70's punk rock covers. Joining us will be "The 1,2,3,4's", Seattle's finest Ramones tribute band, and Snitches Got Stitches, who will be apparantly doing an all covers set.
Come and shade yourselves under the shadows of our bellies on Friday, November 17. Go to the "shows" section for directions, and info on how to pre-order tickets when they become available.

Satyricon pics are now up. Don't miss us on KPSU (98.3 FM and 1450 AM) doing a live set on Friday October 8 at 6:00 PM (Pacific Time). If you don't live in the Portland area, you can listen live by going to www.kpsu.org

Thanks to everyone who came out to the show last night. We had a great time. Battery Legion and Pornstore Janitor rocked the joint. As for the homeless punks who were given free tickets and decided to sell them rather than come - we know who you are, and we're not giving you anymore goddam change.
As our wonderful President says: "Fool me once...shame on...you? Fool me twice....fool me...we won't get fooled again."

We've gone international! The Misfats have been interviewed and profiled in Kerrang! (a punk/metal magazine based in England) issue 1021. Sadly, it appears that we missed the issue at the newsstand, but you may be able to find it wherever fine used magazines are sold (or on Ebay)
This is our issue:

We've uploaded some audio from our Seattle show at the Crocodile. Enjoy.
September 12th, 2004
Wanna say a quick thanks to Thrasher Presents, The Crocodile, Barracuda, and especially The Iron Maidens, their crew, and everybody we met in Seattle. You guys are awesome.
We had a great time at both shows, but the love shown to us on our first visit to Seattle was truly extraordinary.
Now go eat something, you skinny bastards.
Photos will be posted soon.

Just got word that if you wanna see us and the Maidens on Friday, but don't wanna pay $25 for a MusicFestNW wristband, you can get in by paying $10 at the door.
Trust us - this show will be worth every penny.

Thanks to the 150 or so people who came out to the show at Conan's last night. A wonderful time was had by all. Sado-Nation showed why they've survived for so long, and Battery Legion rocked the joint positively stupid.
Special thanks goes to Jeff from Nightpiper Productions for putting together an awesome show, and for treating us so kindly.

Premise: The world's portliest Misfits tribute band, these rotund rockers dish about food and fatness in parody tunes like "Mommy, Can I Go Out and Grill Tonight?"
Resemblance to original: They've got the ghoulish makeup and grimy punk riffing down -- as well as snazzy nicknames (Sir Lord Butterscotch and Foil von Franksnbeans) to carry on the Misfits' alias-rich tradition.
Adventures in rock excess: Only in the amount of doughnuts, Twinkies and PBR consumed.
Odds of original band kicking its ass: Given that ex-'Fits vocalist Glenn Danzig was recently spotted getting the proverbial stuffing kicked out of him backstage in Phoenix, it's highly doubtful he could do much about the champion chompers.
